But think about Naked Broadband if you don't think you need a phone line as it could save you a lot of money.
This market is ALWAYS changing so always check out latest deals & terms & conditions on their sites.
If you already have broadband setup, at the end of your contract check our site & then call your own provider to see if they can offer you a better deal. They often provide a free broadband modem but this is not much use if you already have one. So ask if you can get a discount if you transfer to them, rather than the free modem.

It provides you with a local phone line number as before but all calls are routed through your broadband connection. This service which is a form or VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) offers substantial savings for calls abroad.

Contract Options
Once you've chosen a package or plan, you'll need to select the type of contract you'd like. There are two options:
- No Term Contract - With this option, there's no minimum term or early disconnection charges, but a one-off connection fee of $99 applies. You'll also need to provide your own modem or purchase one.
- 12 Month term contract - Sign up for a minimum of 12 months and you'll get a free standard broadband connection and a free wireless modem worth $99.95 (No Wireless Modem with Total Home Starter & Go plans). If you choose the Total Home Mobile package on a 12 month minimum term you can get a $50 credit towards your mobile phone instead. $199 Termination fee if cancel before 12 month contract.
Telstra Clear
Telstra Clear is probably the most confusing as you have to pay extra for your download allowance.
In select areas of Wellington, Kapiti & Christchurch you can get cable internet called the In-Home Plan For the Rest of NZ you can only get the Home Plan.
